ECT TV Episode 76: Stacked Wire Rose Ring

Materials and Tools:
- 16 gauge, dead soft or half-hard round wire
- Wire cutters
- Ring mandrel
Step #1
We'll work right off the spool, so we're not going to cut off any wire for now.Hold the wire on the size ring you want to make and leave 3 to 4 inches of a tail.Step #2
Wrap around 5 times or however many times you like.Cut the wire leaving a tail of about 3 to 4 inches on the other side as well.Step #3
Pull the wires together around the ring mandrel and pull out to the sides to pull everything tightly.Then twist the loose wires.Step #4
Twist around again with both wires. The wires should go under the first wraps.At this point you can go more freestyle or make a neater rose.Step #5
Go around a few more times and then trim the ends of the wire making flush cuts.Step #6
Use chain nose pliers to push the ends in.
