Creativity Quotes on Winter
These photos were taken in Niagara Falls Park when I was there recently. The falls were/are freezing. I was there on a record breaking cold day. It was a struggle to even get there as it has snowed that morning and the road that we were traveling in one was closed. But once we got there it was a winter wonderland. (We couldn't get to a spot to see the falls themselves in full, although we were at the top of the falls on the American side. There was so much snow and it was gated off.)If you click on the photos they'll open up larger and you can see the detail of the snow and how gorgeous is it.The snow was beautiful, yet I have grown so tired of winter. I have cabin fever. I miss the green on the trees and flowers blooming. My eyes are strained by nothing but the white of the snow.
(From the top of the falls)I need some inspiration to get through these last weeks of winter. Maybe you do, too. I hope these quotes help!"Let us love winter, for it is the spring of genius."~Pietro Aretino*"Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come."~Robert Schuller
*"O, Wind,If winter comes, can Spring be far behind?"~Percy Bysshe Shelley*"When one has faith that the spring thaw will arrive, the winter winds seem to lose some of their punch."~Robert L. Veninga*"In a way winter is the real spring, the time when the inner things happen, the resurge of nature."~Edna O'Brien*In the past I have written about winter and creativity, here are some of the posts:
