Charm Week Day 4: Jazzed Up Tassel Charm
It's Charm Week! Today is Day 4 and this is the Jazzed Up Tassel Charm.A little bit ago I showed you how to make a Tassel Charm. Materials and Tools:
- Some little beads
- Charms of your choice
- A larger bead
- Some little charms
- Bead Cap
- 4mm jump rings
- 20 gauge half-hard round wire
- Wire Cutters
- Round nose pliers
- Chain nose pliers
- Bent nose (or other) pliers
Step #1
Make a few wire wrapped bead links.(For help with this, click here.)Step #2
Make a few chains with the bead dangles randomly placed.Click here to see how to do this with my waterfall necklace tutorial.Step #3
If you like, make a bead dangle. I used an open spiral headpin. Click here to see how to make an open spiral head pin in a recent ECT TV Episode.Step #4
Attach the bead dangle to the end of one of the chains using a 4mm jump ring.Need help opening jump rings? Click here.Step #5
Attach charms to the chain wherever you like with jump rings.Step #6
Slide the chains onto a piece of wire. Place the top loop in the chain in the wire.Step #7
Twist the wire.Step #8
Slide on a bead cap.Step #9
Create a wire wrapped loop on top. (See the tassel charm tutorial for the detailed instruction.)Trim off the excess wire and make sure the ends aren't poking out.
