Creativity Countdown to Rediscover Your Creativity & Make Jewelry - 4

Rediscover Your Creativity & Make Jewelry eCourse starts on January 4th (you can still sign up here!) and I'm counting down the weeks until we start! Each week I'll be sharing a tiny little tip to help with your creativity.Since we're counting down this is . . .Week 4:  Arbitrary Rules. In order to boost your creativity, set up an arbitrary rule to help you.  There really isn't a rule that you have to be creative for a certain amount of time or even at all, so that's why it's arbitrary. You might set a rule that you'll do a creative activity for 15 minutes every day this week or after dinner you'll make a pair of earrings.Your challenge:  For 15 minutes each day for the rest of the week do some sort of creative activity.Step #1In order to do this, right now think about a project you'd like to work on.  It could be a few small projects that you can complete in 15 minutes or working on a larger project.Right now I'm making jewelry to wear to my husband's company Christmas party.  I can't complete it all in 15 minutes, but when you add up the 15 minutes each day I'll eventually get it done. Some ideas for creative projects:

Step #2Decide when you will do this.  When can you carve out 15 minutes in your day?  Is it right after dinner?  Can you wake up 15 minutes earlier in the morning?  Decide now so that you can get straight to work when it's your creative time. For extra accountability, write in the "reply" box below what you did.  (Don't be shy!)  (And you can even add photo of what you're working on!)I'll see you on Monday with another tip.Rediscover Your Creativity & Make JewelryHave you signed up for my most popular eCourse, Rediscover Your Creativity & Make Jewelry?Click here to learn all about it and get signed up.
