  2. Hi, Kimberlie!

I’m Kelly, the editor of AllFreeJewelryMaking.com, a free resource of jewelry tutorials, patterns, and projects. I just stumbled upon your blog via Pinterest and found that you have some really stunning wire jewelry tutorials! I would absolutely love to feature you on our site if you’re interested!

When featuring blogger projects, we write a brief description of the project, include a project photo, and then link back to your blog for the tutorial. Here’s a project you can look at as an example: http://www.allfreejewelrymaking.com/Wire-Earrings/Swingin-Leaves-Wire-Wrap-Earrings

Once you have some tutorials up on the site, I can set you up with a designer profile that links back to your blog and social media: http://www.allfreejewelrymaking.com/Jewelry-Designers

Your wire jewelry designs are fabulous, and I’d love to have you among our featured designers. Let me know what you think!

  3. And guess how I found your site 🙂

    On ALLFREEJEWELRYMAKING.COM !!

I’ve been perusing your site and think it’s great! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

One thing you do that I rarely see in tutorials, is explain what you can use if one doesn’t have a certain item, like a jewelers hammer etc. So you helped me by letting me know I can use what I have for now. 🙂

Thanks again and keep on keeping on! 😉

  4. Hi Kimberlie –
Thank you sooooo much for the awesome tutorials.
I have really been struggling to teach myself (trial and error) how to do wire wrapping, needless to say your tutorials have been an GREAT help!
I’ve only been making/selling jewelry for about a year, part time.
You have inspired me to attempt new heights . . .
    Thank you again.

  5. Can you do a close up of using the crimp tool to “do” a crimp bead? I’m just getting started and when I do it it just looks like smooshed metal when I’m done. Also, are crimp beads already closed? with a hole for the wire? The ones I bought are open and so hard to get in the right place on the wire without shooting it across the room 6-7 times. I’m wondering if I have crimp covers and not actually crimp beads.

    • Hi Jill,

Yep, I’ll do a close up tutorial for using crimp beads. I will say, when you first start they do sort of look like smooshed metal! LOL. The crimp beads look like tiny little silver or gold beads – they are continuous/or closed like you said with just a hole for the wire. I think you might have crimp covers. They look kind of like clams. I’ll do a closer tutorial in the very near future! I do have a video here: http://youtu.be/LsgC5vc1j3U but I don’t know if it’s close enough to help you, but it might in the meantime. Warmly, Kim
