This ring is quick and easy and a great introduction to making wire wrapped rings.
It’s also adjustable making it ideal for giving to people when you don’t know their ring size and a great little ring to make quick sales at craft shows.
- Wire – I used 20 gauge, half-hard wire for this tutorial, but even thicker would be great, too! (The lower the number the thicker the wire.)
- Ring Mandrel
- Round Nose Pliers
- Wire cutters
Cut a piece of wire about 3″ – 5″ long. Obviously, if your finger is bigger, you’ll need a longer piece of wire. Experiment.
Keep the wire straight the the 2 loops will be flat as seen in the photo below.
For a different look, you could hammer the wire flat before wrapping around the ring mandrel.
